To celebrate the UK’s first ever Greek Wine Month, we’re hosting a festival tasting to showcase our most exciting wines from Greece.
Greece boasts an extraordinary array of unique and distinctive terroirs, thanks to its varied topography and climate. The interplay between the majestic mountains and the extensive coastline creates a mosaic of altitudes, mesoclimates, aspects, and soil types, often within a single region.
Be it mountainous, volcanic, coastal or continental, this diversity is reflected in the character of Greek wines, all of which have a remarkable ability to convey a sense of place. Pair this with the wide array of indigenous grape varieties, and you begin to understand Greece’s unique and diverse wine industry.
From Macedonia to the Peloponnese, and from Assyrtiko to Agiorgitiko, there'll be a lot to discover at this event.
Our 'Festival' tastings are standing events that are approximately 2-2.5hrs long, so please bear this in mind upon booking. We do have a limited number of high stools available should you need a seat, but please let us know in advance if you require one. We also tend to show quite a few wines, so recommend eating beforehand.
We split you into two or three groups for the tasting, so if you have friends/family who have booked separately, please let us know that you'd like to be put together!
Tickets to our tastings are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, do get in touch as we often keep a cancellations list for those who missed out on tickets. If that’s not the case, we’ll always try and help re-sell them through social media (no guarantees). Alternatively, feel free to pass them to friends or family – we only need the name of the person who booked for entry on the night.
