Meet the team

Nice to meet you! Our team brings together experience in retail, hospitality and wine. But mostly wine...

David

David

Owner

Following nearly twenty years of advising on corporate property strategy, David put his retail experience and love of wine together in taking over Tivoli Wines in 2016. Alongside directing the business, he also runs our sibling-business, Vine & Orchard Adventures.

Your favourite wine experience?

"Winding our way through the narrow, cobbled streets of Montepulciano, a Tuscan hilltop town, sampling their famous wines from the various enotecas. For me, Tuscany is a food and wine lovers paradise and we visit as often as possible."

Tina

Sales

Our shop at 56 Andover Road has had a few different owners over the years, but it's been manned by Tina for longer than it hasn't!

"My partner at the time worked for Wine rack so I would wait in the shop after I finished my job for us to go home, working whilst I waited. I did a day a week and was mystery shopped by the South West Area Manager! Over the years I would manage this shop and the one on Bath Road"

Lucie

Lucie

Marketing Manager

Lucie is an exceptionally knowledgable and well travelled lover of food and drink who we'd known for years as a customer. Luckily for us, she joined the business in 2021 to manage our social media and email channels, as well as assisting with the day to day running of the shop and The Wine Library.

Most memorable dining experience?

"Without a doubt, it has to be Ynyshir in Wales. 30+ courses over 4-5 hours, a fun wine list, creative cocktails, a DJ blasting out some tunes, and a disco ball. Fun dining, not fine dining for sure."

Website and Stock Control

Chelsea is responsible for managing our website and stock control, as well as keeping husband Calum on the straight and narrow. They only argue occasionally.

Favourite wine?

"It would have to be an Auslese sweet wine from JJ Prum. I love Riesling and this is a very special one from the Mosel in Germany, and it's actually pretty good value for the incredible quality."
