Wildhouse Sauvignon Blanc

Great value Sauvignon Blanc for those looking outside of New Zealand.

Wild House is a range crafted to reflect the energetic landscape of South Africa. A weather-beaten hut exposed to the storm-swept slopes of the Cape's mountains; these are wines inspired by the ever-shifting views of the land.

A cool climate Sauvignon Blanc, grapes are predominantly from Elgin, a coastal region renowned for high quality Sauvignon, supplemented by small parcels from sites in Paarl and Franschhoek.

Naturally fermented in stainless steel, the freshness, character and liveliness of the wine is maintained, though to tame some of this energy, it is kept on its gross lees for five months.

Intense citrus and crushed nettle aromas, this is a vibrant style of Sauvignon Blanc. Ripe, concentrated fruit is offset by a grapefruit tang and green, leafy characters. It is taut and mineral with a long, textural finish.
