Villa Mottura Negroamaro Salento

Full bodied meaty Italian red.

It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura looked out over the vast stretches of vineyards he had gradually set up over the years and decided to give new life to the fruit of his work by founding one of the most important wineries on the Salento.

After almost 100 years of history, in which the love of the land and care of the vineyards have been passed down as a precious legacy from father to son over four generations, today Mottura is a leading Winery in Puglia, an Italian excellence worldwide in the production of fine wines.

Mottura has always set itself ambitious quality goals, convinced of the expressive power of native local grape varieties such as Primitivo and Negroamaro and committed to continuing ancient wine-making traditions.

Deep purple garnet in the glass with a nose full of plums, blackberries, tobacco and walnuts. This wine is full bodied, full of acidity and has a velvety texture on the palate with a long finish. It is the ideal pairing to red meats, game or aged cheese dishes.
