Ventisquero Reserva Pinot Noir
Chilean Pinot Noir displaying berries, soft spice and vanilla.
Ventisquero means glacier, paying homage to Chile's icy mountains in Patagonia. Innovative and passionate, Ventisquero strive to create wines reflective of Chile's unique climate and land. With award winning Chief winemaker Felipe Tosso at the helm and world recognised winemaker John Duval, they continue to take Ventisquero ‘a step beyond’.
From the cooler Casablanca Valley, 20% of the Pinot Noir was matured in French oak for 10 months, while the other 80% was aged in stainless steel to provide the wine with a fruity component.
A vibrant nose of strawberry, vanilla and touches of spice. The palate is generous and rounded, showing cherry and strawberry fruit. It has a soft and silky texture with balanced acidity on the finish.
Easy and approachable, this is a great value Pinot Noir.
