Super Tuscan

Super Tuscan wines embody the rebellious spirit of Italian winemakers from the 1970s. By blending non-indigenous grape varieties that were not allowed under Tuscan appellation law (such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah), the wines could not be classified as superior DOCGs and were named Super Tuscans to emphasise their high quality.

French grapes with Italian terroir, these wines attract international attention and are considered to be some of the finest produced in Italy. Taste a selection of Super Tuscans with us at this seated event in The Wine Library.

We make a seating plan for events that are held in The Wine Library. We have both high and low seating options, some more comfy than others, so please inform us if you have any special requirements. Likewise, do tell us if you wish to be sat with someone who has booked separately, we often just have to guess!  

Tickets to our tastings are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, do get in touch as we often keep a cancellations list for those who missed out on tickets. If that’s not the case, we’ll always try and help re-sell them through social media (no guarantees). Alternatively, feel free to pass them to friends or family – we only need the name of the person who booked for entry on the night.
