Folli e Benato Gavi del Comune di Gavi

Concentrated aromas of white peach, pear and jasmine, carry through to the palate, which is elegant, fresh and perfectly balanced.

Beautiful Italian white wine from Gavi, located in the Piedmont region of Northern Italy and selected for bottling by Folli & Benato. Cortese grapes from 30-year-old vines are slowly fermented for 20 days, then left to mature for a further three months before bottling. Concentrated aromas of white peach, pear and jasmine, carry through to the pallate which is elegant, fresh and perfectly balanced.  Crisp and elegant, this would be ideal to enjoy with creamy pasta dishes!

Folli & Benato are long-standing friends and colleagues for over 20 years. Italian born and bred, they met whilst living in England, working in the drinks trade. Together, they share a deep-rooted passion for wine, and particularly the region of Piedmont, which after many trips together, is at the heart of this project. Folli & Benato source and bottle wines which truly reflect Piedmont's many terroirs, whilst remaining excellent value for money.
