Weingut Christoph Bauer is located north of Vienna, in the region of Weinviertel, Austria's largest wine-growing region. Gruner Veltliner rules here as king, and Christoph and his wife Heidi are dedicated to producing artisan wines with clear varietal and vintage character, balancing traditions with modern innovations.

Organic since 2015, Weingut Christoph Bauer produce excellent fruit-driven wines, whose character is helped on by the relatively high lime content of the local soils.

This Gruner Veltliner has an abundance of white currant, bright citrus fruit, fennel and white pepper on the nose that carries through to the palate. A gentle sparring between fruitiness, razor sharp freshness and lip-smacking acidity; this is a joy to drink.
