Arndorfer Vorgeschmack Red Zweigelt
Crunchy Austrian blend of Zweigelt and Pinot Noir, naturally fermented.
Arndorfer is one of the brightest stars in the natural wine world and a reference point for the new generation of Austrian winemakers. The winery’s ethos comes from the belief that profound wine must be a pleasure to drink and a pleasure to make, and it shows in the wines. They’re always fun and, more importantly, delicious.
Vorgeschmack, meaning foretaste or appetiser, is exactly how you should approach this blend of Zweigelt (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%).
Zweigelt’s wild strawberries, cranberries, brambles and blackberries are backed by Pinot Noir's mineral and tannic framework. There are lingering nuances of dried herbs and smoke.
It’s crunchy, juicy, light and fresh, which begs to be served slightly chilled.
