Festive Fine Wine
Something special for Christmas.
No matter what your Christmas traditions are, we can all agree that opening something delicious, perhaps something a little special, really adds to the enjoyment of (or gets you through) the day.
Take the stress out of trying to decide what to get in for Christmas by joining us at our Festive Fine Wine event. Not only will there be some big-hitters and plenty of classics, but this year we're dedicating one of our 'festival stations' to Gosset Champagne.
Gosset is the oldest house in Champagne, founded in 1584 by Pierre Gosset in Aÿ. Perhaps more than any other in the region, Gosset’s house style is immediately recognisable. The exceptional fruit quality, the uncompromising way they are produced, and the extended bottle age they receive before release leave a distinct hallmark on all Gosset’s Champagnes.
From sparkling to something sweet, and everything else in between, we'll try to cover all bases for the best wines for the big day.
Our 'Festival' tastings are standing events that are approximately 2-2.5hrs long, so please bear this in mind upon booking. We do have a limited number of high stools available should you need a seat, but please let us know in advance if you require one. We also tend to show quite a few wines, so recommend eating beforehand.
We split you into two or three groups for the tasting, so if you have friends/family who have booked separately, please let us know that you'd like to be put together!
Tickets to our tastings are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, do get in touch as we often keep a cancellations list for those who missed out on tickets. If that’s not the case, we’ll always try and help re-sell them through social media (no guarantees). Alternatively, feel free to pass them to friends or family – we only need the name of the person who booked for entry on the night.
