Customer Reviews
At one time, Australia had a naughty habit of labelling its wines with the names of the traditional old world they were emulating, like Beaujolais or Hermitage. No longer, though. Now the wines of the Barossa, Clare and Eden Valleys and McLaren Vale in the South, Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley to the east in Victoria and Margaret River in the West produce exceptional wines, unique to each individual terroir. Add in the new wave of younger producers experimenting with different grapes and techniques, and you've got a country worth watching
