Simpsons Deringstone Pinot Meunier

A rarity: Pinot Meunier, a black grape, made as a white wine.

After tasting a bottle from Germany, Ruth Simpson decided to give it a go with the first usable harvest from the new vines on their estate in Kent. There's an unusual balsamic and strawberry character to the wine that we think makes it a fantastic option for tricky food pairings, particularly salads or raw meat dishes like tartare and carpaccio.
