Sharpham New Release

Nouveau style English white, released quickly after the harvest.

A blend of ripe and peachy Madeleine Angevine and grassy Bacchus, released in a fresh and spritzy 'nouveau' style by Sharpham as an early sign of the quality of the vintage.

Free-run and pressed Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus are fermented in stainless steel to protect and capture the freshness of fruit.

The wine is bottled less than 60 days after fermentation giving fresh elderflower and meadow aromas on the nose and hints of peach and apple fruit. The palate is dry with gorgeous crunchy apple fruit flavours and pleasing, gentle well-balanced acidity.

The finish is clean, long and incredibly more-ish.

Sharpham Estate Winery

Sharpham Estate Winery

Sharpham Estate in Devon is located just off the River Dart with the first vineyard planted in 1981. A further vineyard was planted in 2008 on the east bank of the River Dart on the Sandridge Barton estate this also houses the brand new winery and Cafe.

Duncan Schwab and his team have been making wine at Sharpham for over 25 years from refreshing whites to light bodied reds and award winning sparkling wines.

The cool climate here provides the vines with a long growing season to gently ripen the grapes, preserving wonderful fresh aromas and flavours.
