The 80-100 year old vines grow in clay soils at 800 metres altitude. The white grapes - predominantly Doña Blanca, alongside Palomino, Godello, Albilllo Mayor and Verdejo - are hand-harvested. After whole bunch pressing and spontaneous fermentation the wine is aged for 3 months on fine lees, and for a further 3 in used French oak barrels.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eField Blend Las Contiesas has a mineral and elegant nose, with gentle citrus aromatics and hints of fennel.
