Falanghina Viticoltori de Conciliis

Viticoltori de Conciliis began in 1996, when siblings Luigi, Bruno, and Paola convinced their father to stop selling the grapes they were growing and use them to make their own wine instead. Set in the coastal foothills of southern Campania, the 15 hectares of vineyards benefit from mineral rich soils with volcanic sediment, and this can be seen in the steely freshness of the wines they produce.

This 100% Falanghina stood out with its smoky notes, which sit beautifully with the ripe pear and peach flavours. It’s intense, pure, and has a lengthy finish with hints of sage and fennel. A quality wine at an excellent price point.
