Domaines Alain Brumont Gros Manseng Sauvignon Blanc

The Côtes de Gascogne is perhaps more often seen producing Ugni Blanc and Colombard based white wines, which struggle to go much further than acceptable (though good value for it). The more interesting wines are made with Gros or Petit Manseng, here livened up with Sauvignon Blanc, for a zippy wine with candied citrus and tart apple acidity.
