Dog Point Chardonnay

Ivan Sutherland and James Healy first met and worked together at iconic Marlborough winery Cloudy Bay, Ivan as Viticulturalist and James the winemaker. Then, in 2003 they left to start their own winery with their partners Margaret and Wendy, called Dog Point, utilising vines planted in the 80s and 90s. Their Chardonnay is rich yet lively, with both a pure minerality and depth of fruit, all complimented by 18 months ageing in French oak.
