Cuvee des Galets Coteaux du Pont du Gard (Natural)
A great example of a "natural" wine which has low sulphur levels.
A lovely natural red from the Southern Rhone in France. The name of this wine comes from the 'galets' (pudding stones) that are found in the soil in the area and it is also the typical soil found in Chateauneuf du Pape. This wine is low in sulphur and the grapes are grown in a range of organic and biodynamic vineyards located all over the Southern Rhone. This results in a wine that shows a ripe and juicy combination of red and black fruits, a vibrant, fresh acidity and a rich mouthfeel. A great bottle of wine for a midweek casual dinner.
