Crémant de Bourgogne Tradition Veuve Ambal

Absolutely fabulous Crémant de Bourgogne. Classy, fruity and refined.

Made under the traditional Champagne method, Veuve Ambal is composed predominantly of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and is complemented by a touch of Aligoté and Gamay. This is done to create a unique and interesting blend of flavours and structural qualities. The delicate sparkle of this Crémant de Bourgogne is emphasised by its golden yellow hue and fine bubbles. The harmonious and fruity palate reveals notes of exotic fruits. White flowers and lychee flow from the perfume of the wine and dance on the palate. This is backed up with sumptuous citrus notes and a beautifully coordinated mousse of bubbles.

With a history dating back to the 19th century, the winery is currently run by 6th generation wine maker Aurélien Piffaut's, who joined Veuve Ambal in 2010.  He carries the dynamism and tradition that he inherited from his great-great-grandmother Marie Ambal.

Since it was awarded its very first medal in 1908, Maison Veuve Ambal has continued to add to its list of achievements in the most prestigious competitions. Today, this house produces the top AOC Crémant de Bourgogne and offers a full range of wines to delight wine lovers and connoisseurs.
