Clos Roussely Irreductible Pineau d'Aunis

Pineau d'Aunis is an unusual and fairly rare variety that in this guise reminds us a little of one of the Loire's other red grapes, Cabernet Franc. Slightly less tannic but with the same subtle fruit and rocky minerality, this would make a fantastic sunday lunch wine.
