Brightwell Vineyards Pinot Noir

Shhh. Nobody needs to know how good this is.

This was a surprise. We hadn't fully understood how suitable the banks of the Thames in Oxfordshire would be for growing Pinot Noir, nor how deft the hands would be of the wine's makers, Bob and Carol Nielsen. Spending a good few years in high quality French oak, and released as mature wines, we think this is very, very good Pinot Noir.
